    Attracting 30 female job seekers with special needs in the beauty activity​

    On Monday morning (May 24, 2021), the Asharqia Chamber witnessed a job meeting aimed at attracting girls with special needs from the category (deaf and dumb) to work in institutions working in the fields of beauty and decorating in the eastern region.​

    The Head of the Women's Workshops and Centers Committee in the Chamber, Shuaa Al-Duhailan, said that the meeting, which was held at the Chamber’s headquarters in Dammam, is part of the initiative (with my talent is more powerful) that the committee is implementing in cooperation with the Comprehensive Qualification Center for Women in Dammam affiliated to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Branch in the Eastern Province, as about 30 people were attracted. They vary in skill level, as their talents and abilities have been identified, as well as acquainted with the fields of work in the beauty and decorating sector, and the opportunities available in this regard.

    It is noteworthy that the initiative (With My Talent Aqdar) was launched as a qualitative initiative aimed at employing girls with special needs in the beauty and decorating sector, in light of the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Asharqia Chamber and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Eastern Province, to discover the talents of girls with disabilities who are deaf. And the dumb, to support them and refine their skills and provide them with new job opportunities in the beauty and beauty sector and work to integrate them into society through training that ends with employment, according to the evaluation of the type of disability, skill, and appropriate field of work.​
